I just received one of those chain emails from my sister and all the way at the bottom…way…way…down at the bottom of the email I found this nugget of gold. The statement read…”To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.”
I found this version/definition of success very fitting at the moment. All my coaches, teachers and mentors have been saying a similar concept to me. In order for me to expand beyond my normal self and create the new existence I desire I have to do something different. Einstein says you cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it. I could not agree more. In fact in “The Big Leap” by Gay Hendrix he calls this issue our “Upper Limit Problem”.
It seems that we might lose something if we change or do something different. In many cases this is the exact opposite from what happens. Our conditioned mind puts fear into our thoughts and convinces us otherwise. When moving through life’s challenges remember…
When the Universe/God/(insert higher power here) takes something from your grasp, although it feels like a punishment it is not. The Universe is merely opening your hands to receive something better.
Remember… “The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.”
Good luck out there friends.
